Small
Intimate and shelf-friendly. Best for bedside tables, bathroom styling, or layered gallery walls where you want a delicate presence without competing with furniture.
Medium
The most versatile size. Strong enough to anchor a space, refined enough for hallways and home offices. Pair two for a relaxed diptych on a feature wall.
Large
A clear focal point. This size commands attention without overwhelming a room. Perfect above a sofa, bed head, or as the centrepiece of an open-plan living area.
Statement
Wall-filling and immersive. This is the size that stops people in doorways. Best on a clear wall with breathing room on all sides — it speaks for itself.
The two-thirds rule
Art hung above a sofa or bed should fill roughly two-thirds of the furniture's width. For a 200 cm sofa, aim for 120–140 cm of art width — either one large piece or a grouped arrangement.
Eye-level hanging
The centre of your print should sit at eye level — typically 145–155 cm from the floor. Mark your nail position before drilling and use a spirit level for a clean hang.
Leave breathing room
Allow at least 15–20 cm of wall between the print edge and any door frame, corner, or adjacent piece. Art that touches a boundary feels cramped and reduces its visual impact.
Not sure? Start smaller
If you are torn between two sizes, go one size up — prints almost always look smaller on the wall than they do in your hands. A 60×90 in a standard room reads as a medium presence, not large.
